Match Races SGR 2012
After three years with the same racing days/courses it is time for a change to keep the Regatta attractive especially for our loyal racers.
18 Teams with a maximum crew of 6 people will race on three identical boats (Sunsail 39 or 41ft) short races (30 minutes) against each other (match races) in Clarkes Court Bay. In the middle of the bay will be a barge with a bar to watch the races and also as staging area for all the crew before the races. In each race there will be a rib with "judges" following the boats to handle protest on the spot. There will be a separate registration for the match races.
Races:
| 9am | First round: 6 races, each race with three boats racing each other(18 Teams) |
| 15pm | Second round: Two races with the winners of the first round racing each other |
| 16:30pm | Final: One race with the two winners of the second round racing each other |
